What to say about Jeneen, whose look says so much on its own?! I think we’ll take a less is more approach.

1. What is your dream job?
To become “the” Top Buyer for a major apparel Brand!
2. What industry is most of your work concentrated in?
I have my own made up industry. They are all pieces of my experiences & past life…Social Work/Social Justice and of course Fashion
3. Got a Side Hustle? How does it affect your daily schedule?
Of course I have a side hustle!! I collect vintage part time during the week & flip it full time on some weekends.
4. Discuss your path to where you are now in your career? Has it been planned? Were there unexpected turns?
I am in the beginning stages of transition. I’ve freelanced for about 5 years as a Wardrobe Assistant/Stylist. Along that journey I realized that there are so many arenas to get into…trying to pick just one was the hard part.
In the Fashion Industry some things are planned, but in life an unexpected turn could be at the next step. I’m currently going to school part time for Fashion Merchandising. I plan to transfer after a few semesters, to FIT where I will finish with a degree and start my career as a Buyer.
5. What have you discovered about yourself along the journey?
This is so cliché’ but I can do anything that I put mind & effort too <<< It’s so real!!!!!!
6. If you knew in the beginning what you know now, would you have done anything differently?
I wouldn’t change anything, I respect the process!
7. Describe a day in your life.
Wake, Pray, Shower, Breakfast, Rush to Work (I’m so not a stickler for time….most Type A pet peeves). Work with the public, Yoga,- Repeat (during the week)…in between I plan escapes to foreign countries .
8. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years? 10 years?
Start back at 1 (see the answer to question 1)!!
