Prince Talks Politics and Homosexuality
November 17th, 2008

Posted by Bossip Staff

Prince shared a few of his thoughts on current affairs:

So here’s how it is: you’ve got the Republicans, and basically they want to live according to this.” He pointed to a Bible. “But there’s the problem of interpretation, and you’ve got some churches, some people, basically doing things and saying it comes from here, but it doesn’t. And then on the opposite end of the spectrum you’ve got blue, you’ve got the Democrats, and they’re, like, ‘You can do whatever you want.’ Gay marriage, whatever. But neither of them is right.”

When asked about his perspective on social issues—gay marriage, abortion—Prince tapped his Bible and said, “God came to earth and saw people sticking it wherever and doing it with whatever, and he just cleared it all out. He was, like, ‘Enough.’ ”

so here's what BOSSIP had to say ...

Dear Prince,

Please refer to picture of you above. You’re gay. So, stop with the bible stuff.

Sincerely,

Everyone in the world.

Don't you just love Bossip? Couldn't you just take them home?

Honestly, I do find fault with them trying to suggest that simply because Prince is okay with expressing that which western heterosexist society has deemed as "feminine," that he might be gay ... but I must say ... Really Prince? Now after all the albums and Appollonia, you feel like you are the one who should be giving out advice on how God feels about gays? I'm wondering if God feels better about your butt cheeks and your "messages" than people who want to be able to "express" the love or attraction they feel for someone of the same sex? Is this question even one that needs to be asked? Much like I wonder about the comments made, is the question even relevant?
